Walmart 8-Ball Open?!?

Hey, next time someone tells you they are heading over to their local Walmart to pick up a cue, I wouldn't laugh if I were you. Before you start envisioning a $35 starter cue complete with cute emblem of a unicorn and a cheap, soft case that accounts for the $30 of the $35, you may want to stop yourself.

So, what's the difference between buying a Schon or a McDermott from a guy with a stand at your local pool hall than your local Walmart? They are both the middle man right? I'm sure these are not the top of the line Schon's, but for the most part, aren't they all made in China anyways?
